I think she would have felt very sad that she was lonely again,without the cheerful and comforting company of Bessie.Because in the book it says when Bessie left Aunt Ruth's house it seemed to be a darker place.
I think she must have been sad and depresed.And every time it got even worse because the relationship between the two grew stronger every time they met. Austin,6,zls
