*In norway, sledding was one of the ways of tranportation. *They needed dogs to pull the sleds called a dogsled. They were in teams to pull it. The strongest and wisest dog was at the front or called the lead dog. *In some areas, this was the only transportation. *Though it was the only way of transportation, it wasn't useful very much at all. *they weren't that good at the time. Good sleds like the toobogan were rare. so basically they were fast, but not as fast as today's sleds. Cory DB go NY Giants
